For a phone bid, you may leave a safety bid, it is possible and even recommended to give a written “safety bid” which can serve as a backup in case you are not reachable during the auction.
For lots whose low estimate is less than 550 CHF, in case you are not reachable during auction, the phone bid will be anyway considered as a written bid at the low estimate.
